Text Box: From The Governor: Thanks for an exciting 2009. The Lodge has made some encouraging moves this past year. 1– Moose Bingo is Back! 2- We now have food specials every day of the week. 3- Many of our expenses have been reduced due to so many people in the Lodge volunteering their time. This is the life blood of our order. Thank you so much. Elections are coming soon. This is the time to step up and get involved. If you have any questions please see me. I hope everyone had a nice holiday. We have some important events coming up in the next few months. First, Pat deLaGrange will be getting her Green Cap on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 7:30 pm. Congratulations Pat!!! We will have election of officers for the year May 2010– April 30, 2011. If you would like to hold one of the offices, the ballot box will be outside the WOTM office February 25, 2010. If you have any questions regarding the offices available, please see one of the officers. We are looking forward to helping with the Steel Dart Tournaments March 5-7. The Children’s Easter party will be Sat March 27 from 10-12noon. This party is for both children and grandchildren of our members. Please have the children registered by March 15. If you would like to help with the party please see myself or one of the officers. The WOTM 93rd Anniversary Dinner will be Wednesday March 10 at Milich’s Village Inn at 6pm. See Donna Grigalunas for reservations. 330-753-4003 Our meetings are held the 1st and 3rd Wednesday’s of the month at 7:30pm. We would love to have more of our membership at the meetings. Yours in Friendship, Connie Pysell Senior Regent Text Box: Barberton Moose Herd 759 Greetings all. Well its time to think about riding again. Dues will be due in April but we will be having a meeting in March just in case the weather breaks early. Anyone wishing to get in on the get go, our first meeting will be March 21 at the Moose Lodge at 12:00 noon. The Herd donated $156 to the Ohio Veterans Memorial Park on January 17th for the POW/MIA Wall and Pond. There are a lot of Vets riding with us and we felt that that would be a great way to show our support. There is a brick at the park from Barberton Moose Herd 759 as well. Anyone that has ideas for rides this year please let me know.. Anyone wishing to run for President or VP of the Herd, let us know at the March meeting. Voting will be at the April meeting. Valentine's DinnerText Box: Bowling League News The first half was contested by 6 teams who could have won on the Round Robin. The winners by 1 point was the team sponsored by “THE CUTTING EDGE PRO SHOP”. Team members– Doug Gormley, Ron Kasner, Larry Moser, Bill Schondel, Bill Meyer and Scott Kasner came through in a close match. We have had 6-300 games– 2 by Dave Whapham, 1 each by Cliff Peren, Matt Knapp, Brian Scott Esterle and Shane Smith. High Series so far is 833 by Dale Csuhta, 827 by Matt Knapp and 804 by Don Scheck. Those 8 HONOR SCORES are awarded rings by the USBC if its their first of the year. Come join us Wednesdays at 6:30 at Charger Lanes. Or later at the Lodge. Don Scheck has been running some tournaments on Sundays. For the price it includes drinks and a steak dinner at the lodge after. They are usually sold out by a week before the tournament. Watch for the notification at the Lodge.
